I
married Kim Tolstedt in 1977 and we had three children, Alice Smith (Bob),
April Crowley (Patrick), and Heath Wills (Courtney). We have been blessed with 9 grandchildren -
Tate, Dak, Bailey, and Madison Smith – Brooklyn Crowley – Rozlyn, Railey,
Laney, and Lexey Wills. We moved to
Kim’s family farm in 1978 and now my son and I currently own Wills Farms where
we operate a feedlot, raise cattle, raise corn, wheat and alfalfa and do custom
haying. In my spare time I enjoy team roping, golfing, bowling,
playing cribbage, and spending time with my grandkids with their sports and
4-H.

After
Alliance High School I started working at BNSF where I am still currently
employed and counting down the months to retirement. I have been married to my
lovely wife Kathleen Wolvington for nearly thirteen years. Kathy owns a pet
shop in Chadron called Katie's Kat House and we also have a ranch outside of
Chadron that keeps me out of trouble but in over my head at times. I have two
beautiful daughters from a previous marriage. Morgan Line, lives in Miles City,
Montana with her husband Lucas and have a four year old son Jared and Maggie
McConnell who lives in Cowley, Wyoming with her husband Michael and daughters
Kaylee (10) and Ali (3). In the next ten years I plan to be enjoying retirement
to the fullest. I'm hoping to start by staying caught up with all of my loose
ends on the ranch and will be glad to no longer be on call for the railroad. I
am ready to spend more time visiting my kids and grandkids without a timeline.

After
graduation I was on the 10-year plan at Charon State. Met my future wife Deb,
eventually got degrees in Chemistry and Math. Then a brief stint in Rapid City,
before relocating in Colorado for an eight year stretch. I got a buy-out from
my job as a Water Chemist at Ft. St. Vrain Nuclear Power Plant in 1991 and we
were off to the Chicago area with Deb’s job working for Lady Foot Locker.
In
the last 2 years we’ve married off both daughters and become empty nesters! We
live 90 minutes Northwest of Chicago, in Crystal Lake, IL and also have a condo
in the city (River North) that we love to use on the weekends. Conveniently,
Deb’s office at Nike (great gig!) is just a block away.
We
live on 2.5 acres and have a par 3 course that my neighbors and I built 20
years ago. My day job is managing the Ipsen Service Team. We manufacture
industrial vacuum furnaces . . .and work pays the bills.
I’m
still running and have completed 29 marathons, with my eyes still looking for
the 30th before father time finally catches up with me. My love of my life
(married 34 years) and I live for the next island vacation, which happens to be
in Jamaica this Halloween. It will be our 11th trip to the island.
A
full social calendar prevents my attendance, but I hope this message finds my
classmates enjoying life and looking forward to tomorrow’s adventures!
